Florida Senate Bill 1884 looks like it is going to pass. This bill includes the following:
27 s. 385.2031, F.S.; designating the Florida 28 Hospital/Sandford-Burnham Translational Research 29 Institute for Metabolism and Diabetes as a resource 30 for research in the prevention and treatment of 31 diabetes;
TRI State Designation language allows Florida Hospital/Sanford-Burnham partnership to be more attractive to Federal funding/grants.
