Winter Haven continues to develop into a high-tech hub. Last week saw the grand opening of the Florida Business Continuity Center, which helps companies recover data and house employees following a disaster. It’s located in the Inland Fiber and Data Technology Park at 199 Avenue B NW, the same building that houses the University of South Florida Polytechnic’s Blue Sky East business accelerator.
“Organizations are wise to prepare early for potential downtime of their primary offices, to insure continuity of daily functions and provide convenient close-proximity, easy-access temporary workspace for their staff,” says Carl Strang III, president, Florida Business Continuity Center. “We’ve had a good response. There’s a real need out there.”
The 250-workstation, 14,000-square-foot Florida Business Continuity Center provides full-service alternate workspace recovery facilities and services in a secure inland location for continuity of business and employee operations.
